    Fishing Hatchachubee Creek

Got up early Saturday to make the 2 hour trek over to the Alabama line. Met up with Riverpirate and another fishing buddy "Timbo" at Hatchachubee Creek Park. This is a trib of the Chattahoochee River. From there we drove a short way over to a public put in about a half mile up stream. Judging from the water line along the bank and the railroad tressle just up from the put in, I'd say the water level was down quite a bit... looked like 6 or 7 feet... maybe more. Wish I could say we tore 'em up but we didn't. It was a beautiful day weather wise and my fishing partners were great as always. We each caught a few largies so at least we didn't get skunked. The Pirate was out front leading the way and assumed the duty of scaring all the gators away in his Trident. I believe he said he saw about six yesterday. Apparently they don't like long Yellow objects that look like a Pirate on a banana... Wink   Even though the fishing wasn't great, I still had a great time!!!

    Ocmulgee Adventure 1

You couldn't have picked a better day for a float down the Ocmulgee River.  Four Georgia Kayak Fishermen set out early for an all day adventure.  We caught some fish, shared some lies and tall tales and learned a little bit more about this great new sport we have grown to love.
